Top Figure Competitor Katrina Roundtree

With over 30 competitions under her belt, Katrina Roundtree broke-out in 2004 as a bikini competitor. A Special-Ed Teacher, Mom, Trainer and figure Pro, Katrina climbed up the ranks to become a Yorton-Cup Pro-Champion in 2005.

Here’s what Katrina has to say about her start in Natural Bodybuilding:

I have always enjoyed competing in sports and I am blessed to have a lot of support from family, friends, and all of the positive people in my life. I have been running since elementary school and still enjoy the sport. I was a competitive Cross Country and Track and Field athlete at George Mason University for four years. I was a walk-on during my first year as a George Mason Patriot. Through hard work and determination I earned an athletic scholarship.

After college I wanted to remain active in sports, but due to a disappointing senior year in college plagued by hamstring injuries, I knew that running competitively had to take a back seat. I decided to run distance races to stay in shape and to support different foundations.

In 2004, I decided to compete in my first bikini show. I have always been shy, so it was a challenge for me to step on stage with six inch heels and “strut” my stuff in front of a lot of people. Now I am hooked!!

The Giant Killer Makes Changes, Moves On: Shaun Clarida

Jason Powell Introduces “The Cronus”

Today, in Segment One (1) Mike Neumann welcomes back John Hansen from a two-week absence. John made good use of his time away, however, with a very successful photo-shoot and was subsequently named cover model for the upcoming September issue of IronMan magazine (available late July)!

Then, in Segment Two (2) Promoter Jason Powell introduces "The Cronus" Competition, billed as "the first multi-affiliated natural pro bodybuilding world championship, with a $10k cash prize". On hand with some pointed questions and tough observations is Nicole Weeks, Natural Pro Figure Competitor in the IFPA, NGA, & USBF; and promoter of the OCB Southeast States Natural, in Orlando, FL. When the smoke clears, its obvious Nicole has her doubts, but Jason Powell is an earnest promoter working towards his own version of a "Unified Title" in Natural Bodybuilding. John and Mike manage to keep things cool, with their own thoughts and hopes for this new concept.
