No stranger to fitness, Amelia has been competing since the age of 16 in her native Peru where she claimed the title of Miss Fitness Peru nine times.
As a wife, mother, competitor and trainer, Amelia credits God as her source of willpower. And oh the willpower she has. Two weeks after giving birth to her son Brandon in 2005, Amelia was easing back into to her training program and within two years, she was making waves in the competitive arena.
With so many victories under her belt, what’s left for Amelia Powers to accomplish? What ever it is, you can be sure that she is already planning,,,, and preparing for it.

I recently attended the 2009 Fitness Universe in Miami as my cousin was competing in the men’s division. I’m not one to write things about anyone, but I did see Amelia Powers on stage in Miami and there are truly no words to explain her beauty and more so her elegance on stage. That lady knows how to walk and carry herself. She has a striking resemblance to Raquel McLish…wow!!! Actually congratulated her in person after she won her division in Figure. She is extremely humble which is surprising and rare with a women of her beauty. Hope to see this lady on a magazine cover because I would buy 2!!!!! There is no doubt she should have also won the “Overall”. Amelia if you read this…you are truly the definition of Class and elegance. I will be checking the magazine stands to hopefully see you on a cover. God bless you and your family.
